Has Almost No Scent

I bought a Reed Diffuser in a Dollar Store for $3.00 and it scented an average size bedroom for weeks. I thought these would be much better. The first day with these I tried one in the same bedroom and there was a very faint scent. I had to get about 6 inches away to smell it. I turned the reeds over and still no scent. Poor quality of this reed diffuser not on par with Amazon's excellent service

Unfortunately the quality of Greenair All Natural reed diffusers is not on par with Amazon's excellent service. The reed diffuser was already leaking in its own box by the time I received the package and I could tell immediately that it was a very poor quality diffuser fragrance oil.



I ordered it because I thought the fragrance oil was imported from London but on closer look at the back of the box it said that the diffuser set was manufactured in China. Poor quality scent/packaging and deceptive ad about the product.

Lovely scent simple design...but call poison control? Yikes!

I wasn't sure what cranberry-pear would smell like as a combination but it's really a lovely scent. I know others think it smells too strong but I disagree -- it does smell strong the first day or two (like all air fresheners I think) but then it mellowed out and was light and perfect.



Pros:



* Scent is light fruity and fresh

* NO brand name printed on it except for a clear label on the back (that you don't really see from the front). I love that they didn't stamp "FEBREZE" right on the front of it! Bravo!!

* Attractive glass square bottle with real wood top - understated and fits right in with your decor



Cons:



* Doesn't last as long as I think it should for the price (I didn't notice much scent at all after 30 days even though it claims to last up to 60

* Can spill and make a mess

* My dog was crazy about the smell in the beginning! He sat under the shelf I placed it on for the first two days and whined as though a side of beef was up there. So make sure you put it WELL out of reach of curious pets (and toddlers) because...

* It says on the packaging to CONTACT POISON CONTROL (!!!) if ingested! (but doesn't say what's IN the product that's harmful...???!) I don't think it's too much to ask for Febreze to make a non-toxic air freshener is it? Many of these reed diffusers simply use vegetable-based oil with natural scents which wouldn't be harmful if swallowed (disgusting maybe but not poisonous!)



Overall an attractive look and a great smell...I'd just be careful to keep it WELL out of the reach of pets and little kids. In fact I'd go as far as to say DON'T get this product if you're going to have little kids around it for their safety.More detail ...

Refreshing alternative to chemical air fresheners

I'm very happy with how well this diffuser works. It comes with 5 pads that you put drops of pure essential oils on and place inside the unit. You plug the unit into an outlet and will notice the fragrance within about five or ten minutes. The oils are not included but any pure essential oils will work. (Lavender peppermint orange whatever you like...) The diffuser is nice to keep in any room or bathroom to have beautiful natural scents rather than the chemical based scents you get from the typical plug-ins. The pads seems to last a long time and you should use different pads for different scents of oils. They also sell refill pads. On the box they list several combinations of oils for relaxation energizing or air freshening. If you like experimenting with aromatherapy scents this is a great product to have.More detail ...
